US Congress Hosts First-Ever Crypto Town Hall event featured blockchain industry leaders. Congressman Tom Emmer announced that his campaign would be the first to accept donations in the form of cryptocurrency.

Ernst & Young Launches a Cryptocurrency Reporting App that assists with US tax filings delivering a detailed account of cryptocurrency capital gains or losses. EY Americas Vice Chair of Tax Services, Marna Ricker, confirmed that “clients increasingly hold and trade crypto assets, creating the need for an innovative solution to address the evolving complexity around filing crypto taxes”.

New Wave of the Cryptoasset Consumer Research Study in the UK published by the FCA estimates above 5% of the gen pop hold/held cryptocurrencies (vs 3% in 2019). Awareness YOY rises from 42% to 73%.
